Much better than expected

After years of going from silicone dampener to rubber band ties. Made the leap to try this product due to elbow and shoulder aches. Feel the vibrations are leas and smoother, cleaner versus pervious dampeners. It’s a cleaner response and feedback. Other than adjustment to addition of 4g to string area. This is a good addition to customizing my rackets.

Amazing pop!!

The difference is night and day from the standard dampener. Amazing pop and great feel. Aesthetically pleasing too, with the blue dampener on a blue raquet.

Fantastic Dampeners!

Same as other dampeners

After using it for a few weeks I don't think this dampener is that much different than other $3 ones. If I were you I would save your money and buy a "regular one." The product is fine but the price to performance ratio is the reason for my rating

"I've been a tennis coach for 15 years, played since I was 5 and always used a shock absorber. This is THE BEST shock absorber I have ever used!

I first used my old dampener, then tried this RTP shocksorb and it was a night and day difference! And I’m using an old school Wilson nCode six-one tour 90. With old strings. Amazing.

I found that I could hit with more confidence, and take fuller swings at the ball, knowing it was going to be comfortable. And I’ve had shoulder surgery already. I couldn’t wait to write to you after I hit with it!"

"I stopped playing competitively a while back due to tennis elbow that just won't go away and will flare up after a couple hours of hard hitting.

RTP ShockSorb has all but prevented elbow flare-ups, to such level that I played 3 days in a row without having to put my arm in a sling. Heck, I didn't even have to ice my elbow or take ibuprofen. This is pretty darn amazing, and I am utterly impressed in its efficacy. This thing absorbs string vibration like nothing else on the market

This is a super product for sufferers of tennis elbow (or wrist, or shoulder). At $15 a pop, I think it takes the crown as the most expensive dampener on the market, but with many high-end strings going for $20+ per pack, I think it's a very worthy investment, especially considering that I get to keep my racquets and not spend time and money on newer models that boast enhanced dampening."

I think I did a review of the wrong product. I accidentally did a review of the warranty. This product is absolutely garbage! It tore right out of the packaging. Did didn't even hit one ball, I didn't even put it on my racket and it was already defective. For the ridiculously expensive price is this product the quality couldn't be lower. I am so very disappointed. Please!!! In the future make a better quality product!

The dampener is good quality and I prefer it to any other I’ve used. But beware of trying the colors as they are inaccurately advertised. Customer service told me this was “color variation due to photography” and refused to replace it. It would take some pretty intentional lighting manipulation to get that difference so I would be wary of trying colors!

This is the best dampener I have ever used. I could feel the difference from the moment I put it on my racquet! My only issue is one of them came off during a very intense match, and I didn't notice until I got home, so I am bummed. I lost after being up most of the match, and I don't think that would have been the case if I had my new favorite dampener the entire match. I have to have it!

I have a unique story that brought me to tennis nearly 15yrs ago. While I didn't learn the way most people do, my passion for the sport has grown significantly over the years, especially as I've improved. I have recently begun coaching as well! Honestly, I didn't give enough credit to the importance of feel when feeding the ball for lessons and drills until it was time to start. With that said, the way these dampeners help me FEEL the ball on my strings longer in both rallies and feeds helps with control in ways I really didn't expect. I use a full bed of Poly when I play, but synthetic gut for feeding drills and lessons, and BOTH are dramatically improved. I don't experience any elbow or wrist pain during play, so I can't speak to any potential improvements there, but it definitely sounds like a cleaner pop off the strings, which is an added bonus!

After I tried the original dampener, I immediately bought 2 more. This time is the UltraSoft version. Honestly, I cannot feel nor hear the difference when i hit the ball. For some reason, i found that i had a little pain again on my wrist after the hitting session than using the original version that i had close to no pain. I need to try longer to see if there are some other factors which caused the pain. Anyway, i would still recommend this dampener cos it reduces my wrist pain.

I was hesitant that this would actually make any impact to elbow pain. My elbow pain was not stopping me from playing (not serious injury) but due to playing lots of baseball, it was constituently sore , tender and weak feeling after playing tennis — I’m 4.5 player - 43 yrs old After using for 1 or 2 days, not much notice, but the feel was nice and I liked playing with it. Now a few weeks later and I don’t have elbow pain or soreness or weakness after playing. For elbow, it worked to eliminate any nagging soreness, weakness, and it feels great to play with. I’m using Wilson PS v14 Noir and it will stay on both my rackets as permanent fixture. Great product!! Best dampener I’ve ever used, it has actually more than 1 purpose!!!
