By 22, injuries had already set me back six years. I was competing at the level of a 16-year-old. Two knee surgeries. Two rotator cuff tears. A labrum tear. And yet I came back to compete at the top level against the best in the world. While my peers got better, I got put back together. Every comeback meant working three or four times harder just to catch up.

I tried everything on the shelf to stay on the court. None of it worked the way it promised. I didn't set out to build a brand. I just needed gear that worked.
